Al is an extremely versatile player and is in demand working and recording with several different bands. He likes many styles of music and plays everything from jazz to bluegrass, Latin to rock, as well as R&B, blues and hip hop. He’s played in groups ranging from duos to 20 piece bands.

Poet and songwriter Karen Antone says, “Al’s taste for the appropriate is exquisite. Listen to the groove he laid down for some of the haiku tracks. He came into the studio, listened a bit and started playing these wonderful percussive accents. Great personality and a great guy to have working with you!”
